Dee and Ricky’s Home Cooking
Dee and Ricky’s Home cooking is a restaurant which was opened by the two brothers earlier this year in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, serving some of the most tastiest food in NYC the restaurant has become a creative hub for many to pass through and enjoy.
Transferring their innovative flare from fashion to food, the twins have managed to deliver a impressive menu of home cooked southern cuisine inspired by the playful flavors and tastes of the Caribbean.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner from 11 a.m until 11 p.m, the restaurant’s menu features tasty twists on classic comfort foods, offering everything from Grits Brulee, Ranch Sweet Potato Chips and Jerk Chicken Nuggets to a mouth watering prime 100% beef steak.
The stylized 700 square foot space seats 40 and features a heavy dose of chrome paneling superimposed against custom Oak floors in bold primary colors, giving it an industrial yet homey aesthetic. Tapping into existing friendships from the design world, Dee and Ricky teamed up with Ari Forman in laying out the space. Dee & Ricky have applied their iconic Lego aesthetic to the restaurant and the style and design touches seen throughout their collaboration with PONY resonates within the space. Additional nods to their fashion roots include special customized seats bearing the Louis Vuitton emblem.
The result is a one of a kind establishment where diners with an appreciation for style, art and a well cooked meal, can hang out in a one of a kind spot, that’s as stylish as Dee & Ricky!
