20 years ago, UGK (Bun B & Pimp C) released their first full-length album, Too Hard To Swallow. Since the release of their debut, UGK has gone on to influence two generations of MCs; this mini-documentary explores the influence of UGK’s music outside of their home state of Texas. Hear testimonials from veteran and up-and-coming MCs, DJs, producers. Some of NYC’s finest hip hop artists have contributed their time to this video, a number of artists including as ASAP Rocky, Talib Kweli and Yasiin Bey (f.k.a. Mos Def) all say a thing or two about the legends that is UGK.
