NYC Type is a collection of photographs taken by Luke Connolly while walking around the wonderfully colorful streets of New York. Interested in photography and typography Luke searches high and low for different types across all five New York boroughs. Documenting all his findings on his website, NYC Type which tells the ongoing story of New York City through the perspective of the letter forms found on it’s streets — unique signage, vernacular typography and hand-crafted lettering. Luke takes all his photographs using a Nikon D700 and 50mm Nikkor 1.4. Check out the NYC Type over here.
