DJ Cucumberslice shouts out about Pony!
BOUNCE Magazine editor Robert “Bobbito” García, also known as DJ
Cucumberslice and formerly known as Bobbito The Barber, Boogie Bob, Kool Bob Love, Soul Food Bob, and Bag of Tricks, gave PONY a nice shout out in his latest issue. He gave props to some dead stock early 80’s PONY canvas low-tops with the bangin rubber toe cap. Don’t be surprised if Pony cooks up a retro version of this classic hoop shoe.

To make sure that we make basketball shoes of top-notch quality for all ballers’ on-court needs, we are wear-testing our new City Wings on basketball players of all skill levels, heights and weights. Our current CWs are running on the courts of Balboa Park here in San Diego.
We’ll keep you posted on how the ballers are doin’. Thanks to Ty, Redd, Alvin, Rob, Ferg, and Donald for testing out our sneaks!

For the last few years, there has been an epidemic hitting teens and tweens, parents and toddlers alike… Disney’s High School Musical has spread like wildfire! Not only were the first two movies huge hits, but the HSM3 trailer got more than 200 million views alone! And we at Pony were graced by Monique Coleman and Chris Warren Jr. stopping by to grab some dope kicks!!! Monique picked up some Neff Divas and Chris picked up some Moss TR Mids…

Warren Sapp dropped by the PONY headquarters to cop a pair of the Moss
Trainer Mids. He and Randy are great friends and have kept in close contact
since their days in Oakland. Sapp heard the kicks were “fresh” so he had to
snatch a pair up…

“Yeah booooooiiiii!” Ex-love of Flava Flave, Tiffany Pollard, better known as New York, stopped by to grab a fresh pair of our Neff Cosmos! After not finding love with Flave, nor on her 2 seasons of I Love New York, New York has made her way to the West Coast on her new reality show called New York Goes to Hollywood to pursue her dream of acting…and maybe hoping to gain new luck in love…seems to me she is lookin’ for love in all the wrong places – hey, but maybe she’ll have more luck in her hot new Ponys…
