From his downtown paintings to his custom kicks, local artist Alex Avila is taking SD by storm. Alex grew up in San Antonio, TX, but calls San Diego home. Inspired by downtown living, Alex’s subjects range from run-down buildings, high rises, the rich and the poor. Everyone can relate to his paintings in some way or another. Keep your eye on this guy. He’s just getting started.
