Pony travels (continued)…

Yet another stop in our world travels was Las Vegas, NV. Yes, again!!!! On our trip back, we attended and had a showroom for Magic, the international trade event to be at for anyone in the fashion industry – for apparel, accessories, footwear, sourcing needs, and the list goes on and on.  We had a blast, of course, showed off our current and upcoming collections, had great meetings with some outstanding retailers, and ran into some of the most interesting people in the business!!!

Check out the photos below!! Vegas + Pony + friends like Dave Ireland of Vapors and Shaun Neff of Neff Headwear  + Magic = Amazing times and endless opportunities!

PONY PARTNERS WITH COMPLEX MEDIA TO DESIGN NEW 2009 LIFESTYLE ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN

PONY International tapped Complex Media to design the print creative for their 2009 lifestyle advertising campaign. This new campaign is firmly rooted in Brooklyn and embraces and pays respects to our rich heritage with a stylized “BROOKLYNOP Since 1972″ headline/logo treatment.

Complex Media utilized its in-house marketing and creative services department to design the new campaign., With FTC’s in hand and using their top photographers,  Complex hit the streets of Brooklyn  2-3 day photo shoot sessions in search of iconic landmarks, neighborhoods, to capture just the right mood/attitude for the campaign.

The result, a breakthrough lifestyle campaign that prominently features the Pony Feed the Cats via amazing product photography that literally are “Larger than Life”  and metaphorically, as subway trains or on a barge. For a little Brooklyn trivia, the location of this subway platform is the Nostrand Avenue stop on the Long Island  railroad near Bed-Stuy, right in the middle of Brooklyn, where Biggie Smalls, aka Notorious B.I.G., grew up. It doesn’t get any more authentic than that.

Special shout out to Complex photographer, Andria Patino and senior designer, Sean Botwinick who brought this campaign to life.

Look for this campaign in March & April publications and online in Complex, Vapors, Vice, Sole Collector, Antenna, Slam,STACK, Nicekicks.com , Hypebeast.com, Sneakerfreaker.com, and more.

Finally, Complex will create additional executions throughout the year. utilizing other iconic Brooklyn landmarks and larger than life Pony shoes to keep this campaign fresh and uniquely Pony.

Pony’s travels – Chapter 1…

Helllooo, everyone! It has been a while since we have blogged, and you may have been asking where we have been…well, we have been on the road, traveling the globe and leaving Pony hoof prints wherever we go!

Our first stop was the Compass Trade Show in Las Vegas, where we showed with all the best lifestyle footwear brands!!! It was an amazing show, and we would like to thank our friends at BPMW for putting together such a fabulous event! Our friends Eric and Chris from BPMW have a little cameo in the pics below…This wasn’t your run-of-the-mill trade show; we were surrounded by awesome shoes, charismatic people, upbeat music by Lucas Walters, and an overall lively atmosphere! And on top of it all, our shoes looked fabulous, and we got to sneak peek some exciting sneaks!  Check out the pictures below!
