The latest issue of FOOTWEAR NEWS hit news stands on Monday. One of the feature articles highlights Kevin Wulff and the teams significant progress in the market since taking over the brand in 2007. The article also showcases PONY’s vision for Spring / Summer 2010.
I want to give a big thanks to everyone who played a part in making the launch of the PONY store, FARMHAUS, a huge success. The event was off the hook…! We had an amazing turnout from all walks of life. From Footwear News to Nipsey Hussle – everyone was showing PONY the love.
We got rave reviews from our 2009/2010 vintage and lifestyle footwear collections and the cash register was cha chingin all night. We had live musical performances by Rug Burn and Ghettoblaster, along with live art installations by Nil Ultra, Juniper Sicat, and a list of others…we couldn’t have asked for a better crowd!
This is just the beginning of an event filled year folks… just wait until we launch our Brooklyn store come September 5, 2009. PONY will be celebrating both our LA and NY locations throughout the year with product launches, stickball games and live concerts. Big ups to Footwear News, WSA Today, California Apparel News, Vapors, LA Weekly, Angeleno, 944 and our friends at Complex for all the coverage.

PONY announces the opening of its first PONY store within a store located on
Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. Notable North Hollywood
retailer “Farmhaus” is cooperating with PONY to showcase PONY’S 2009 and
2010 Vintage and Lifestyle footwear collections.
PONY and Farmhaus will celebrate the grand opening with a block party to
include entertainment and live art installations by Nil Ultra, Juniper
Sicat, Sterling Bartlett, Seizer, Tom Vadakam and Carson Cornett. Musical
performances by Rug Burn, Ghettoblaster and a surprise special guest.
Replica PONY vintage t-shirts will be printed on site . Doors open at 5PM,
and we will be serving beer and hors d’oeuvres!
Come out and join the fun!!!
No stranger to the hip hop and the dance scene, PONY was proud to represent at Body Rock
and the SD Fair Hip Hop Dance Battle.
Dance crews from near and far showed off their moves and intricate choreography for the judges and adoring fans alike. Mad props goes to Choreo Cookies for taking top honors at both dance competitions.
