PONY loves to PARTY! Especially for a good cause like saving boobs!

As you all know, we hosted an ASR show to raise some money for our partners Keep A Breast, and it was soooo much fun! Not only did we have some amazing live performances by Tape Deck Mountain, Da Bears, and Street of Little Girls, but Jamuel Saxon and the Illuminauts had an impromptu dance party to get everyone’s PONYs movin’! Thanks to everyone who came out, drank a Pabst tall can, and helped raise money for breast cancer awareness! Oh, and thanks to Tin Can Ale House for providing some tasty eats, refreshing libations, and wonderful service! Check out the pics below to see some of the epic times at the par-tay!

It’s the Shoes!!!

Hailing from the “Planet Brooklyn” comes rapper and fashion connoisseur, CURT@!N$. This 22 year old youngster from Crown Heights, NY, started rapping at 9 years old. Originally signed by Interscope to the Artist Direct/Radar Records label, and later to, Headquarter Entertainment, Curt@!n$ has been making his mark on the underground HIP-HOP scene and has emerged as a “Hipster”. Last year, he was named by the great Kanye West in Complex Magazine as one of two young music star/ ashion trendsetters to take the world by storm!

Curt@!n$ has mad love for Pony and looks forward to what we’ll be delivering in ‘09 & beyond. Check our the music video and original song he wrote and performed for Pony called “IT’S THE SHOES”.

PONY Brings It Back to Brooklyn

We are pleased to announce that PONY (Product Of New York) has returned to its New York roots where the brand was originally founded back in 1972.

The PONY x MADE IN BROOKLYN store launch on September 5th was an incredible success! PONY teamed up with the MADE IN BROOKLYN crew to open a social
club/boutique/tattoo parlor in Brooklyn, where visitors can get the latest in NY street fashion, a fresh tattoo, and the newest PONY gear. Visitors can also join in on a old-school game of stickball… We’ve got games starting at 5PM daily out in front of the shop. Watch out for cars!

The shop opened this Saturday, and we had an all-star turnout – DMC from RUN-DMC, Kaves from Lordz of Brooklyn, Lee Quinones from Wild Style and NY Knicks forward and PONY ambassador Wilson Chandler, to name a few. As a way of reintroducing the Chevron to the younger generations of Brooklyn, PONY gave away 100 pair of sneakers to less fortunate children from the surrounding neighborhoods just in time for Back to School.

PONY will be hosting events throughout the year at the new shop – so keep an eye on the PONY blog so you don’t miss out. And keep your eyes peeled for the MADE IN BROOKLYN microsite on pony.com! Coming soon!

Party on, Bill and Ted!!! PONY hosts an ASR Show in a Shoe Box to raise money for Keep A Breast!

If you are in the San Diego area this weekend, be sure to come join us for our Show in a Shoe Box at the Tin Can Ale House on 5th and Fir on Saturday, September 12th! Doors open at 9pm! There is a $5 door donation that goes to help save boobs (to Keep A Breast)!!! Cuckoo Chaos and Tape Deck Mountain, 2 of the hottest So Cal bands, will be playing – so don’t miss out on a great time!!!
