PONY loves to PARTY! Especially for a good cause like saving boobs!

As you all know, we hosted an ASR show to raise some money for our partners Keep A Breast, and it was soooo much fun! Not only did we have some amazing live performances by Tape Deck Mountain, Da Bears, and Street of Little Girls, but Jamuel Saxon and the Illuminauts had an impromptu dance party to get everyone’s PONYs movin’! Thanks to everyone who came out, drank a Pabst tall can, and helped raise money for breast cancer awareness! Oh, and thanks to Tin Can Ale House for providing some tasty eats, refreshing libations, and wonderful service! Check out the pics below to see some of the epic times at the par-tay!

Pony Rocks

Pony kicks will be represented in full effect at the San Diego Music Awards.

Tape Deck Mountain, Microphone Mike, Shark Attack, Jamuel Saxon, & Black Mamba all got nominated for awards!

You can vote for you favorites online right now! We recommend Tape Deck for ‘Best Alternative’, Jamuel for ‘Best Electronic’, and Black Mamba for ‘Best New Artist’!

Sorry, no public voting for Microphone Mic and Shark Attack because their awards will be voted on by members of the San Diego Music Academy.

Congrats to all the Pony bands!

Jamuel Saxon jams Pony in the new 944

Our good friends, Keith Milgaten and Aimee Sanchez, of the bands Jamuel Saxon and Black Mamba, are rockin in Pony in January’s 944 Magazine.  The article calls out Jamuel Saxon for being a band on the brink.  Keith is sporting the FTCs in the pic although the title bar makes it a little hard to see them.  Keith Milgaten is a huge force behind music in San Diego. Between promotions, graphic design for venues, bands, and album covers, running his own recording studio, and playing in four of San Diego’s top bands, this young man is a force to be reckoned with, and Pony is proud to have him sport our shoes!!! Pony knows how to party!!!

A few weeks ago, Pony hosted a CD Release Party for one of our artists – Microphone Mike here in San Diego, and and it was off the chain!  We had two other great Pony bands, Jamuel Saxon and the Feelings Mutual playing also! We brought out some old shoes for everyone to put their personal touch on and brought out some new samples for everyone to see what is in store for them in 2009!!!  Along with the great music, dancing, giveaways, and art, we were able to have some fun with some of our best supporters!  Thanks everyone again for a fabulous night!  Check out some of our pics and bands at our MySpace!
